The OE difference

Why is OE Quality important for a coolant radiator?

All fleets whether it be a bus, truck or coach, are impacted by the quality of parts that put each vehicle together. OE parts are beneficial to the performance of a vehicle. In a similar way, the human body runs better on non-smoker lungs or a stroke free heart.

Fleets reach top performance with OE quality parts. Above or else, the most important areas of a vehicle should have OE quality, such as the cooling circuit.

The radiator
An essential component of an engine cooling module is the coolant radiator. It consists of a radiator core and water tank with all the necessary connection and attachment elements. The radiator core is made up of the radiator network—a tube/fin system—the tube headers and the core covers. Conventional coolant radiators have a coolant tank made of glass-fibre reinforced polyamide, which is sealed before being joined and crimped to the tube header. The state-of-the-art all-aluminium radiator is extremely light and compact and 100% recyclable.

How it works
Heat is generated by combustion in the engine is absorbed by the coolant and discharged to the outside air via the radiator. Coolant radiators are installed in the air flow at the vehicle front, with different designs available. In the case of downflow radiators, the coolant enters the radiator at the top and emerges at the bottom. In the case of crossflow radiators, the coolant enters at one side and emerges at the other. Crossflow radiators are more compact and are used most frequently in passenger cars. Defects frequently occur due to accidents or leaks.

The OE Difference
The radiator is just one part of the cooling circuit and one component of a vehicle. By its complexity, it is easy to see the importance of OE parts to ensure functionality at a high standard. Get the quality your fleet needs with technical assistance and support.
