TasBus Conference 2016 in a nutshell

Monday June 6, 2016 – As a member of the Tasmanian Bus Association we were present at the TasBus Conference 2016 in Hobart. The Minister for Infrastructure, Rene Hidding, officially opened the conference on June 4th. The delegates were mainly bus operator representatives, but also Government representatives together with State and Federal politicians attended this yearly conference.

“The conference was very informative with the key issue for most operators being the developments of Project 2018, which is the public bus service recontracting project,” says Derryk McGuire, branch manager Tasmania and Victoria from Whites Diesels Australia.
