Review Australian Bus + Coach Show

Friday October 7, 2016 – Executive Director of BusNSW, Darryl Mellish, and Secretary of Transport for New South Wales, Tim Reardon, opened the Australian Bus + Coach Show on Wednesday Morning October 5, 2016. During two days everyone interested in buses, latest products, services and technology had the chance to evaluate and source different products and services at Sydney Showgrounds.

“We are pleased that we’ve had the opportunity to present our business in replacement bus and truck parts during this Bus + Coach Show. Always good to catch up with customers and suppliers in this kind of professional environment,” says Scott Stevens, Branch Manager Whites Diesels Sydney, after the show.

Bus Driver of the Year Awards 2016
The New South Wales Bus Driver of the Year Awards for 2016 were presented at the official opening of the 2016 Bus + Coach Show. The awards were handed to the winners by Secretary of Transport for New South Wales, Tim Reardon. We congratulate the award winners:

Metropolitan Bus Driver of the Year: Lorrainne Griffiths from Interline Bus Service.
Rural and Regional Bus Driver of the Year: Fala Faatamala, from QCity Transit.
Coach Driver of the Year: Trevor White, from All Australian Journeys (award was accepted on his behalf by Phil Bromley).

75^th Anniversary
On Thursday evening delegates have been greeted with an unusual dinner setting, with a female singer hanging from a vine singing to everyone. The crowd could experience a nice evening to celebrate BusNSW’s 75th Anniversary.
